I laughed when "Hannah" said she didn't need to go and put shoes and clothes on because it was a beach town. Maybe she should stick to the Jersey Shore.

I was relieved that she had on a bikini the whole time and wasn't going around topless. I'm not sure why but I don't like her boobs. Maybe it's because their small but her areolas are huge, I don't know, but they look better in a top than out there on their own.

On the contrary. When a PP writes that "visually she is quite gross to look at" she opens herself up to being criticized herself. I am no super-model and I would never in a million years deign to pass judgement on others' looks. Actually, even if I was a supermodel I wouldn't do that. That kind of judgement of someone's physical nature is what's really gross, IMHO. Hate Lena Dunham for what she puts out there, whatever. But hating on her just b/c she's overweight, has tattoos, etc., is pathetic.

i like Lena Dunham and i like Girls. But i think it's unrealistic that Hannah, who is a big ball of insecurity, would prance around in a bikini. I agree. Detracts from the show, and is a statement for Lena Dunham.

I don't think she's hot but, gross to look at? The elephant man is gross to look at. Dunham looks like a normal run of the mill, flawed person. Why is that so terribly offensive?
