I have to say of current Housewives, yes, Carlton wins worst hands-down.
I love Lisa and Heather from OC. Also love "holla"-Heather from NY.
I can't wait for NY to start. They throw legs around this season! LEGS!!!!!!!

NeNe's time is ticking. She isn't interesting anymore. For the past two seasons, she has been creating drama to stay relevant. I think she really screwed herself last night by being so ungracious at Kenya's charity event. The real reason she doesn't like Kenya is because she's taking her place as the shit starter.
I love Kandi, Phaedra, and Porshia though. Happy for Porshia landing a role in the play. She's a little dingy but she has a golden heart.
I think Kandi's mom is worried about the money, which she sees as hers. Kandi's been a superstar and supported her mom since her teens. She wants to make sure the gravy train continues. She doesn't give a crap about her daughter's happiness.

The first season of any of the shows is the closest to any kind of reality- if you don't count the fact that the events are planned by the show, and the relationships between the women are also contrived, and don't forget the heavy editing, the cutesy music around comments, etc. After the first season, however, everything deconstructs because the housewives have seen themselves and they don't recognize themselves- they are looking at what basically have become their avatars. That's when they start to manipulate their own reality- they begin with changing their avatars- the plastic surgery, the face fillers, the hair, the makeup, the clothes. They actually look costumed.
Their avatars begin to manipulate each other's avatars, the conversation becomes contrived and competitive, and they are pressured by the producers to create drama in order to have face time on screen. They lose themselves as people entirely, and yet they have little control over their own lives.
What we end up watching are people slowly spiraling out of control because they cannot synthesize their actual selves to the perception of themselves. They are not trained actors- and even trained actors have trouble with this aspect of reality and fantasy- but let's understand this- at least the actors understand that they are working with a script- they may get lost in it, and they might even believe their own crap, but these women have no script, just a perception.
They also feel pressured to do something else in order to capitalize on their fleeting fame- a clothing line, Skinny Girl drinks, whatever business they are already in. They can no longer have personal relationships, and sooner than later, they might start figuring out that they have been exploited by the show for their weak points, because that increases ratings ( people love a table flip or an argument) so they are left in the cold with a large baggage of emotional loss and low self-esteem.
This isn't entertainment.
PPPPFFFFBBBBBTTTTTT!
party pooper! I am pretty sure no one on here thinks these shows are legit, they are fun. That is all. Jeez.
These are tragic shows.

Princess Stassi on her birthday? She is such a narcissist. She even manages to make her best friend's relationship problems to be about her!

I agree about Nene. I used to really love her, but her arrogance this season is a REAL turnoff. It's obvious that she's unhappy that her Hollywood run has ended, but she has really become an unlikable person. I, too, think her Bravo run might be ending. Especially since recent remarks on the show could be taken as anti-gay, so Andy Cohen might not be so all about NeNe anymore.
I've always liked Kenya (and Marlo!). They live for the drama, but it doesn't seem as evil and mean-spirited as NeNe.
Not a fan of Kandi and Phaedra. Mainly because they are boring as hell. Phaedra also has a nasty habit of talking about folks behind their
backs and not dealing with the confrontation face to face.
