Yeah, JB from National to Orlando is going to be the cheapest pretty much every time. We bought 4 tix for September at $212 RT, so $848 for 4 of us.

OP here. I got my ticket either from Travelocity.com or jet blue itself. But I got it around the time I posted this thread. We are leaving this week and to tell you the truth, I was pretty surprised.

Try JB website.

Check into Amtrak AutoTrain vs fly/rental car. We did it one year & was a fun part of the vacation.

While the flight is quicker, I find getting up early, going through security, the flight, the landing, waiting for the luggage, getting the rental car, etc to be frustrating. Total airport experience is about 5-6 hours.

This year, flights are more expensive. I'm used to paying $150pp and they're hovering at $250pp, right now. If our car was more reliable and I trusted it to make it to Florida, we would drive, no question. BUT, when I factor in renting a car to use for the driving, the cost savings aren't enough. So, flying it is.

But doesn't it take 12-16 hours to drive to Disney from DC? So you are saving 10 hours each way by flying. That is worth it methinks.

No fee. It's part of the Disney Magic Express. Free shuttle service to your hotel, bags delivered to the room. Note: the "shuttle" is a full-size passenger bus. So it's not like 8 people or anything.

Note that the shuttle will likely stop at 35 other places before it gets to your hotel.

They break it up by hotel...each one only runs to about 3 hotels.
