I was asking about how I should play the lottery not about scheming to keep an IB spot after we move ob. It sounds like I should put ob schools before eaton because if we get into those we are safer than if we get into eaton.

You might not think it is over crowded but we have friends whose kid is and IB sibling and didn't get into PK4 until the end of October. There are legitimate families applying for the spots. Time for you to move on.

Read this string. She is taking a gamble because she will eventually move (even if after the school year starts), and she might not be able to keep the slot OOB. At Eaton, she might be able to get in OOB, which means she could stay there if she moves.
