There are already two magnets, Blair and Poolesville; two French immersion programs: Maryvale and Sligo Creek. Special ed is harder - I am aware because I have a kid in PEP - but should not be impossible.
The county can not be divided because of the number of kids that are bussed long distances for magnets/special ed etc.

The upper county is not "really bad". The main roads are find. Some of the residential streets have a little snow in places.
