I've never seen 1 episode of 24. Do you need to start from season 1, or are they all independent from each other? If so, is there a particular season that's really good?

Homefront -- a pp mentioned it earlier in the thread and I have tried for years to see if I could find it on DVD or streaming somewhere. No dice. I loved that show.

For those of you who were teenagers when it aired, My So Called Life is a great show to rewatch as an adult...you actually relate more to the parents than Claire Danes' character. I think it airs on Sundance sometimes. It's like watching a completely different show almost 20 years later.
