I'm 47 and my sweetie is 7 years younger than me. We're both divorced and its by far the best , most understanding relationship of my life. If you judge a lady merely on looks and cannot make deeper, intellectual connections with your lovers, you are flawed and have some work to do on your soul. I don't have an issue dating men my age or older, or a man that's younger.... it's about connection, and once.you assign an arbitrary number to your dating pool that has a judgement attached to it, you've hit shallow.

LOL Right. I have tried hooking some of these guys up (others have too), and was usually surprised by the reports coming back from the women they dated. I'm referring to guys you're surprised to hear haven't been snatched up already. Either they turned out to have secret asshole tendencies, their sexuality is now in question, or they are guys who either mistreat or are indifferent towards good women because they feel entitled to a hottie (who usually uses them). I am 30 now and I believe at my age, both women AND men should be well past some of the common mistakes we made in our 20s. Golddiggers are easy to spot and so are most guys looking to use a woman for sex.


Man at 35 is like woman at 30 in the dating/mating game. So if they have too many issues, you do too (assuming you are single). If you are single, worry.

There used to be the fallacy that only the mother's age mattered. But the truth is that the age of both parents matter. And the purpose of reproducing with the healthiest mates used to mean mating with the most attractive, younger females because the age of the father was not called into question. But now with increasing understanding that the age of the father also matters means that women need to choose younger male partners. The only way around this is to maintain a social structure where females are kept down and disadvantaged with respect to economic and social opportunities so they continue to breed with older men.


Nothing you said disagrees with what I said. I said a 5 year difference is realistic (and verified by online dating data re desirability). The man's age does matter. And of course so does the woman's, even more so. Your last sentence is retarded though. You seem like a man-hating feminist. I mean if you want to be completely biological, every kid would have a 19 year old father and an 18 year old mother, but we don't encourage that in society. But you can't just pop out kids, you have to raise them. and that's why men are judged on accomplishments/status and women are judged on looks/youth.
