Since this comes up on every thread where the OP isn't a middle age mom living directly in the DC metro area, I'll take this one. "DC Urban Moms and Dads" is a misnomer. People from all background come to this site, for the exact same reasons that people in its chief demographic do. You do not have to be a mother or father, or live in the DC area to be on this site.
Don't forget the periodic purges where those from further out than McLean or Bethesda are pilloried.
