Our uppababy vista takes up the entire trunk so you can't fit groceries, shopping bags, etc in there. Say you're going on a road trip - you have to put your luggage in the back seat. I now use an umbrella stroller and put the vista in my husband's SUV. Trunk space should definitely be a consideration.
GASP! Luggage in the backseat! They might mistake you for a poor!!
A poor in a Mercedes.
At first I started to laugh because I thought this post was trying to be ironic- then I laughed harder when I realized the poster was being serious.

Do you plan on going on day-long car trips with a week's supply of diapers and baby food?
Actually, not with a rear-facing convertible car seat behind the passenger...or, perhaps there was some car seat that would have worked, but the one we had didn't, and the Mini was getting pretty old, so...just saying that a Mini Cooper could work, but it wouldn't necessarily be the best choice.

Have to buy a new car and torn between a mid size sedan (accord) and a mini-SUV (CRV). Which car is better with a kid? I am trying to guess what kid stuff/activities/play dates would "fit" better with an Accord or CRV. Do kids start taking up more room as they get older, enough to justify picking a vehicle with more trunk storage?
If you have only one kid and one car, is an Accord size car big enough? If you've wished for a bigger vehicle, why/when?
(They cost about the same.)
Thanks!
