The strawberry shortcake cake is awesome! My 3yo's favorite.

I disagree, but maybe that's because I've only tried one type of cake at WF and it has been delicious over and over.

It's the one with white frosting / strawberries and yellow cake. A winner every time.

I love their vegan chocolate cake! I haven't seen it in a while so I'm not sure if they still sell it but I highly recommend it, even if you're not vegan.

I had the fruit and cream cake not sure what the name of it is baked for 20+ people it was $50 i think no writing no ornaments and it was great

13:52 here. Another thing, for the people experiencing the mold issues; it is not enough to go to the bakery department of a grocery store and complain to the employees. You need to either (a) ask for the manager of the bakery department; or (b) ask for the store manager. We did this at a WF once after being unsatisfied with something in the bread department (a new employee sliced the bread incorrectly), and our concerns were immediately addressed.

We love the WF chocolate torte; we got it from the Friendship Heights store for our daughter's birthday party, and the adults LOVED it. We prefer WF cakes to other grocery stores because WF uses all natural ingredients. Too much artificial colors/flavors in the other grocery store cakes.

Try Firehook's cakes, especially "Grandma's Chocolate Cake".
