Actually, I was in Ikea once on a very windy day when the power went out. Guess what? The emergency signs did not light up and it was very, very dark inside (I was not near a window). My 4 year old was scared and still talks about it!

The fire suppression system is very apparent. That would have to be a big damn fire. But you might be stampeded by folks running to not get their hair wet from the sprinklers...
