Maybe he really thinks women don't deserve reproductive rights. Maybe he really doesn't believe in marriage equality. I'm straight, but I come from mixed parents who got married just 3 years after Loving v. Virginia. I'm also female. I just could not ever vote for someone who doesn't support the essential values of citizen equality, and the right to have dominion over my very own body.

I am glad for his own health that he took this measure to try to lose weight. Kudos to him on that.
Realism doesn't = bullying.
so all your friends are skinny? you pass judgement based on how fat they are?
NP, but look. Chris Christie isn't merely overweight - he's as big, if not bigger than what TWO combined healthy people should weigh. I don't want any of my friends to die from morbid obesity, but having a president of the United States weigh 2x what he ought to, is troubling. This isn't like having someone as POTUS who's 20-30 lbs overweight.
Obama smokes, and we elected him. Oh, and he's black with a muslim middle name.

Taft.

Looks like he has well over 100#s to go. In fact, I didn't notice that he'd lost any weight at all. Agree with others that he's too heavy to be voted president.
