Really? The only Waffle House I have eaten at recently was terrible. Added bonus: The sink on the only bathroom didn't work. You know, the bathroom used by the employees.


I'm the person who first posted about WH in this thread. Generally, I find them clean and the staff extremely friendly and service very fast. We happened to be in Winchester this weekend and took the opportunity to eat at the Waffle House right by the exit onto 81 and I swear we had our food within 5 minutes of sitting down, and the whole store was clean and well kept. Obviously there's exceptions but that goes for pretty much every single major chain.

And I don't care how much someone wants to look down their nose at Waffle House, there are no better waffles, anywhere.
