Love our Thermador stove. Especially the ultra low heat feature. So, so great and worth it to me.

Subzero, looks nice but not a better fridge or freezer.

Bosch dishwasher agree with above. If I had it to do again would get a kitchenaid, although the Bosch is super quiet.

Also love our Bosch double oven. Worth it too.

I love my Bosch dishwasher, it fits a lot of dishes and glasses, it silent and cleans really well, it is 8 yrs old and I understand that they changed the rack layout on the newer models.

I will be sad if and when it goes. What about asko? I have heard they are very good dishwashers.

We have a Fischer and Pykel gas cook top and I am happy with it, the grates are recessed slightly so it does not sit up so high on the counter.
We went lower end on our wall ovens, Frigedaire Prefessional and they are big, have good feature and I have not been unhappy.

Hate my Bosch too. Doesn't clean well and hate that it doesn't have built in disposal. What were we thinking? DH wants to get rid of it.

Having redone a kitchen with good quality appliances and then bought a house where the kitchen was already redone, I'd take Dacor over Viking any day. Our Viking gave us nothing but trouble -- both the range and the hood -- and the repairs were super pricey both in terms of parts as well as service visits. Never again.

Ditto for the Gaggenau dishwasher in our last house -- it washed dishes really well and I really liked the organizational features, but once it started leaking because of a bad seal and a misaligned door -- hundreds of dollars in repairs.

I did like the SubZero fridge in our last house, although a bottom freezer is not my favorite at all. Repair wise though we had few problems with it in 7 years, and it had probably been put in 5-7 years before that. Only once had to replace the line from the water filter for the ice maker. The GE Monogram we had put in ourselves in our previous kitchen sucked -- it wasn't top of the line, but it was an expensive counter depth fridge with a double wide fridge and side by side freezer. Loved the layout, but it was a lemon.

What I love about my Bosch is that I got the paneled front, so it blends in with my cabinet. I hate the look of stainless steel. Hate the way the dishes don't fit in. Also, it runs really hot. But, do love the wine glass holder on top!

Also love my paneled fridge. But, it is way larger than what I thought it was when I bought it. Can't remember the manufacture. Also, counter depth still sticks out farther than I thought. But someone told me that was because I didn't go high end enough. (as if they make cheap paneled fridges).

^ oh yes, also switched to black knobs on the Wolf range.

Miele Dimension Plus DW

Wolf all gas range (snapped up a 2012 showroom one). Love it's performance! Just made the best fresh apple pie.

Jenn Air CD FD refrigerator with filtered water on side, ice maker in freezer.

Love my miele dishwasher and ovens. Our subzero is awesome- never broken - but it's a pain in the ass to open. I think we may have gotten one with an unusually tight fit. Seriously, somedays I hurt my shoulder opening it. And love our gaggenua cooktop.

Bosch dishwashers are too small and aren't set up well for stacking and loading lots of dishes.

Love the Wolf range.

anyone have nice electric ovens or cooktops?

These are industrial ovens. They get extremely hot on the doors and sides. I am thankful my kids were not toddlers when we got ours.

They were actually built specifically for consumers from the beginning. They didn't convert an industrial line to a consumer line. So that's pretty inexcusable.

That's what we have. I like the Wolf range although we swapped out the red knobs for black.

Also have a Miele DW, which I like. Didn't like our Bosch as much.
