there are some questionable "moral values" in the show. Martha uses words like "gosh dang it to heck." This isn't occasionally, either. It's whenever she's upset, which actually happens a lot. Does it bother anyone else that the cartoon uses the word "gosh" so much?

Oh yeah. Super Why is like knives in my ear. And hey OP, I'm not afraid to say to my kids, "No, you cannot watch Super Why because it talks down to you, and I'm pretty sure the guy singing the songs is making fun of the show." It didn't take long before my kids started talking about how they don't like Super Why.
As for Martha, we don't watch it, but I do like that commercial where they say: "You guys are really irritating," and Martha says, "Does irritating mean fun?" That's gold baby.
Curious George, in the original books, was awesome. Curious George in the smoothed over, teach you something about science or whatever, is lame. Who are these idiots who think an ape is going to be able to arrange library books or figure out the weather or run a hot air balloon for chrissakes? And yeah, I said an ape. Because monkeys have fucking tails. Curious George isn't even a monkey.

Hey, OP,
IT'S A FUCKING CARTOON!
You find the show annoying? Turn it off.
Who's in control?? You or the kids? Turn the damn show off if it bugs you that much. Writing in to ban that one show? Crazy.
You are either a troll or insane.
It really is your job as the parent to check out the show and if you find it offensive, then turn it off.
Anonymous wrote:And wait a minute... you actually wrote in to have a particular Martha Speaks episode fucking banned?
Yes. Why? It depicts sneaking a dog into a country club and not getting punished. It should at LEAST be edited. Think about this: A Barney episode back in the early 1990s was also petitioned and banned. Why? Nine words: "A Stranger is a Friend, You Haven't Met Yet." As a result, many children fell victim to pedophilia and molestation. I have a perfectly good reason to petition this show because children around the world will grow up to become LYING, CHEATING, DISHONEST, SMUGGLING LAWBREAKERS.
Here's your solution OP. Don't watch the show.
It's not that simple. My kids want me to watch TV with them, so I have to sit through it. They get upset when I leave, so I have to stay. Case closed, but not this post.
