Wow. I'm single. I've never slept with a married man, nor would I. Most of my single friends wouldn't consider it either. I only have one friend who has done that, to my knowledge.

That said, I don't tend to hang out with the severe dichotomy couples i.e. he works and can pretend to work late, while she does all of the household/kid stuff. Most people in my social circle don't have time for affairs, because they are both doing work/kid stuff all the time.

I agree. Cheating is less about bad marriages and more about a personal lack of integrity or character. It is someone who is okay with lying, cheating, deceiving, betraying and hurting those they say they love. If someone cheats, that is because of the person they are, and the state of the marriage is secondary to the moral code or lack thereof that they use to guide their actions. They might use their marital problems as an excuse or as a way to rationalize what they did or even to try and blame the other person and make it their fault - but all those tactics are pretty common in people having affairs as they lack integrity and aren't likely to be honest about their own shortcomings, and they lean towards being narcissistic (I want what I want and I'll have it regardless of who it hurts).

I am single, and have slept with umm, a few.... married men. For me, it is fun, exciting, and it is a thrill. It is a turn on to do something so discreetly, with no emotional ties. It is just a good fuck. For the men, I notice that most are just truly unhappy. It is the usual, her sex drive changed after kids, she is not willing to spice things up, cheaper to keep her, she is not attractive anymore and etc. Do I feel bad about it? Not at all...
