I often hear what sounds like a tv on in the other room at night.

I used to always always fall asleep with the TV on at night. I'm no longer in the habit, so it's like the sound has imprinted on my brain.

I can hear my radio when it is off and it only happens early in the morning as I am waking up.

I never told anybody because I thought they would think I am crazy.

Rare but possible especially if you live near an AM broadcast station. (Are there radio towers within, say, 2 miles?)

For me, hearing music or "chatter" (not voices exactly, but just running thoughts) in my head is when my anxiety is acting up.

I've had the same problem and found out that my ipod had turned itself on and was playing through headphones halfway across the room. So if you have any kind of device like that, check it.

I hear music every night. One night it's 50's music, then its classical music. All old stuff when the house was built. Spooky right?

I heard distant music in the night a few months ago and was going bananas.

It was my ipad.

I would do what I believed was turning it off. And then somehow my music library would start playing.

I can hear music from rhythmic noises like the pp said and it only happens when I'm sleep deprived. The breast pump would sound like a specific phrase, I would make out patterns in white noise. I specifically remember this during the first 6 months or so of each kid. Your brain is on overdrive and it's sleep deprived. I bet it goes away once the baby is older
