So gross to listen to the noise or walk past their desk and see a little pile of nails that they couldn't even bother to put in the trash (yet for some reason felt the compulsion to sweep into a little mound on the corner of their desk). We have three people (out of seventy) who regularly clip their nails in the office. One of them does his toe nails too. Blech!

This is seriously revolting. Do these people have no shame?

Love the people complaining about the thread and that all these workers have too much time on their hands. Get back to work then, you!

One day you'll be an old worker. Sure, you say now that you won't be like "them," but wait until you've had a few decades of the same old thing day in and day out, the same old office politics, the same old barriers to change. It will wear you down, too, and unless you're amassing a fortune, you'll still need the paycheck.

As for the "nobody wants you here," speak for yourself. We've had a few of our long-time people retire, and the office has changed dramatically -- not for the better. All of the new younger people are arrogant, pompous, think their work is perfect (when it's not) and think they know it all. I miss the old folks.

See the difference is your old workers seem to be contributing something.
