I think the moral of the thread seems to be that an adoptee should never complain, talk about his/her feelings about the adoption or how it feels to be adopted.
If the do they idealize their birth family, and that is a time to remind them of terrible twos, what kind of a colicky baby he was, how awful as a teenager....
It doesn't matter why children are given up for adoption - adoptive parents have needs, too, and an adoptee who disregards them so extremely (like in this case) is an asshole. Nobody said adoptee should be content all the time (what?), just that he should be considerate toward his parents.
