Thanks for the post OP. We are a Landon family. I had some misgivings about the school before my son started. I could now be on the PR team. We love the school. My son, who is athletic but no superstar, is thriving in every area. We have watched him try and succeed at things we never thought he had an interest in. I really like the boys he is friends with and their families. The teachers know him well and help him set appropriate goals. I see the faculty correcting boys and expecting respectful behavior in all realms where they represent Landon. We've also been impressed with the character/ethics education. An all boys, private school isn't the right fit for everyone but it should be respected when families share their good experiences.

My sense is that Landon as a school is trying very hard to define itself more broadly than a school for athletic boys. Posts like this one don't help that effort.

We are new family and it has been very welcoming so far. My son immediately went out and played ball with some current students at a recent event. zero prompting from any adult...inclusive. My son was sweaty and smiling when he came back. We have high expectations for him and the school.

As originally stated the posting is about the positive experience my family is having at Landon, that was written by me (Dad) of my own volition.
The focus was to speak on the positive I am sure there are less positive things to comment on at any school including Landon. I choose not to in this forum.
