So many people on this thread express fear of "what's five miles in any direction." How many travel that far from home on a day-to-day basis, excepting a commute?

The main thing is that it's being offered at $1.2 million, which is a lot for a house in Takoma Park. But it's a beautiful house.

The PH house was much cheaper, and just about any new house near Tysons sells these days.

I don't care for either of the pictures houses, actually. I think the TP house which I originally thought was a Pimmit tear down based on the title of the post is really drab on the outside. Unless you know the area, you never would know that had been built in the last decade. It truly does look like they distressed the outside of it to look like it was 60+ years old.
