this is really my sister's story, but it is a classic. My family is Portuguese, and perhaps you've seen ceramic statues of roosters that are very common in Portuguese kitchens - they're generally the same stylized look.

Anyway, my sister and my mom are in my mom's office talking about the roosters, and my mom decides to Google something about them. After a second or two see says, Oh my, I dont' think this is what I want. My sister says what is it, what did you google?

And my mom says.....


Wait for it.....

I had to write a paper 10 years ago on gender inequality in divorce proceedings. I had such a hard time googling terms related to men + power, dominance, even simple terms like advantage, or anything close to that.

Google was more primitive then, and the porn sites were starting to get really good at pop ups, but before software had caught up. At least on my laptop, anyway. It was so bad that I had to take my computer in to get cleaned up. It was like my laptop caught herpes.

My DH's crazy friend sent him a small clip of Japanese puke porn. I was morbidly curious and googled. Dh ran to the bathroom and threw up and it still makes me sick to my stomach to think about. And ive seen both versions of 2 girls 1 cup and why the bombing of Hiroshima was a good idea
