What was FxAT and what was GBRS?

I understand that a previously undiagnosed LD that has been just diagnosed is new evidence.

Would a previously undiagnosed LD that is now being treated be "new evidence" for appeal and so you don't need WISC?

13 GBRS 99 NNAT all 4s in report card and still not eligible? Hm. That's really surprising.....

What else do they want? I am thinking that I will include DCs latest report card, as well as 3 letters of recommendation, and her glasses prescripition - we just found out last week at the eye dr that she has an issue with focusing her eyes. Please help me - What else do I include? And did I mention that we are an ESOL household?

how about the Fax-cogat?

Ugh, another surprising nonacceptance. Even if FxAT not great, a PP's child had FxAT not great and is in. Getting discouraged since my DC's scores and GBRS were not as high. Our mail still hasn't come.

I am not doing the WISC, as my DCs Dev Ped recently diagnosed DC with an LD and a vision issue.

Yes, just received letter. NNAT 135, FAT 96%, not in.
My DC is very average in school. We are not sure whether we should appeal or not.

Wow, your child's scores sound so good. I would appeal with WISC if you think DC might do better in AAP or the same. Do you know GBRS? Good WISC should overcome mediocre GBRS.

I am the PP with DC being denied. Before we decide on appeal or not, will need to have a WISC. Does anybody have a recommendation for the psychologist? We need somebody with lots of experience and clear voice. Please also comment on the cost if you know. Thanks
