Trader Joes Marcona Almonds with Rosemary and Sea Salt and a mandarin orange and I am pretty happy.

Maybe you're thinking of artichoke hearts, but all the Hearts of Palm I've ever purchased have not been in oil - they're very low in calorie. Believe me, I'd be obese by now if they weren't and I am not.

I'm glad someone mentioned jicama. I ate that a lot while growing up as a snack and a low calorie food while growing up out west. Strange that you rarely see it here. I'm going to try and get some tomorrow.

NP here. We love them roasted with paprika, coarse salt,pepper, and olive oil. Yum.
