I don't know if that is PG-13. There's this lady that's there cursing about the lack of tables and free Wi-Fi.

Letterboxing and or geocaching...both are fun ways to get out and explore! We like letterboxing best because of the handcarved stamps.

Another vote here for the Visionary Arts Museum and their cool kinetic sculpture race. Really an awesome event, interesting museum, and fabulous gift shop!

Yesterday, I took my kids to the Mount Vernon Gristmill. We had the entire place to ourselves. We had a picnic outside under the trees followed by private tours of the mill and the distillery. It was remarkably pleasant and educational and none of the crowds that were swarming around the larger Mount Vernon offerings down the road.

I don't want to hijack, but I have a 2 year old and 6 year old, and will be on Sabbatical for the summer. I'm so excited to do stuff with them. What would you rec? 2 year old still needs a nap so it's a little tricky... Maybe I should start a new thread...
