I love this thread - so funny how folks have their own 'right' way (and position on what's clean/healthy).

so bizarre, why would anyone wear underwear to bed? no, of course my son doesn't. He wears pajamas and puts clean underwear on in the morning. Some people on DCUM are so strange.

After nightly bath/shower only. I also can't stand the seems in my PJ bottoms and neither can DC so we wear underwear to bed.

Mine puts on a clean pair after bath but she only bathes every other night, so she puts on a new pair in the morning if she didn't bathe the night before.

After bath night, otherwise every morning. Sometimes at bedtime if it's not bath night but they have had a funky poop during the day. Always wear undies even at night

Niether my son or I wear underwear at night. For me, its doctor's orders. For my son its comfort. He loves going free in his jammies.

If he did wear them at night, I would have him change them in the morning as the kid sweats a lot.

My kids (1 boy, 1 girl) and I go commando at night, DH wears his boxers to bed. Everybody gets clean undies in the am. We wear PJs for two nights, but my kids eat breakfast in them, so if they get food on them, then it's one night.

What? It's called bathing, people.

Why is it necessary to change your underwear twice a day? If you are having that much of an odor problem, you may need to see a doctor.

Or take a bath?

Once a day. Unless there are skidmarks involved.

+2 for the kids who go commando at night.

DH wears his boxers to bed and showers in the am so changes in the am. I wear underwear at night (I don't like the feeling of the seams in my PJ bottoms). Are there seamless PJs, I think its cooler and better hygiene to commando.
