This is our experience as well. It's been going on for 3 years and never ends. Why is this tolerated?????
Without naming names, what sorts of kids are these? Older grades? Neighborhood kids? OOB kids? Friends with each other or solo bullies?
You know, ms Main may not have done anything but I'd bet 7000 people at least scan dcum these days. May be useful to shine some partial sunshine on the antagonists

The bullying referred to involved the same repeat offenders who
punched multiple kids in the face and stomach,
Kicked boys in the crotch, threw books at kids's heads from behind and voiced slurs
regarding sexual orientation (faggot, gay, lesbo, homo).
They preyed on many kids.
Parents who approached school administration after their kids were
Assaulted more than once were deemed to be overly protective and viewed
as annoying.
You know, Lafayette is an elementary school. The oldest kids are 11/12.
Apparently, Ms. Main thinks these kids are cry babies and the patents who complain are a pain in the a**.
The bullies continue their wrath because everyone makes excuses for them and the
Consequences are non- existent.

If I'm reading this correctly, you're saying that Brent parents are active and Lafayette parents are not active but instead are all yes-men for the principal.Anonymous wrote:Take a look at schools with excellent leadership like Brent Elementary. Parents are active with the PTA because the PTA represents and communicates with the parents. The Lafayette HSA is a booster group for the principal.I am sorry the AP was fired. Maybe he questioned Ms. Main and got the boot.

Pretty bad for a school that only goes to grade 5!
Our kids have learned two thing from Lafayette:
1) kids who continuously bully, cause trouble & constantly disrupt the class never get fair consequences.
2) Principal Main has no interest in hearing any of the problems they have with bullys.
Great life lesson but unfortunate that kids Eleven and younger have to learn it....
