It does because I'm the one who took the time to teach him to read etc. But, if it makes you feel better to think I'm lazy, that's ok. I can guarantee you that none of my DC's teachers would consider me a lazy parent. Anyway, I sometimes forget there are people on this board who can't help going over comments just to find something negative to say

This is me. Exactly! But we went on to have #3 and #4 and they go to the parish school. Because I didn't want another 5-10 years hearing about AAP!

But yet, the whole AAP process was so foreign to me that I truly didn't know it existed, nor did I know there were people so mental over getting their child into it.
