I disagree on the "skinny" pants thing. As long as they are more of a straight cut and aren't cut like leggings, I think they are an improvement for most people. Flares look dumpy to me. The knee never seems to hit at the right spot on anyone under 5'6 --- it's always too loose.

Crocs. I die inside when I see a fellow woman out in the world wearing CROCS. And they look terrible on everyone. They're very popular on little boys but even something about that look doesn't do it for me.
White framed sunglasses. They SHOULD look good on some people, but they just always look cheap.

If they are cut with an empire waistline, they look like a tent. If they are cut to a narrow waistline, they make your ass look fat. If they are cut like a ;pmg sheath dress, you look like a nun.
They're terrible. Good maxi dresses don't exist.

Strapless bridal gowns. I mean, they might look good, but to me, they are just not bridal. Leave something to imagination, I say.
Skinny pants/jeans look good on very few women. Most women who wear them do not look good at them.
Cropped tops that end above the waistline of your pants/skirts. You have to be super-toned and firm for this to work. Most people aren't.
White stockings. Unless you are five and playing snowflake in the preschool morning show.
Running shoes/sneakers outside of the gym.
White stockings AND running shoes worn with a business suit as sported by many, many women on metro. It hurts me eyeballs. Just get comfortable shoes you can walk in, believe me, they exist outside of Footlocker!
Pleated trousers.
Don't get the hate for:
- capsleeves. I have toned arms and they look awesome on me.
- high-waisted jeans. I love them with longer tops because most jeans these days are cut so low, it's difficult to avoid the look of an extra skin fold between the waistband and the top. See below re: crop tops, very few people are THAT firm. High-waisted jeans solve the problem and give my tops a smooth line.
- turtlenecks. It wouldn't be an enduring style solution if it didn't look good on most people.
- capris. With the right length (past the thickest part of the calf) it looks great.
- kittenheels. They aren't very practical, but if you don't have very thick calves, you can wear them.
