Wait. Is THIS sarcasm? I can't tell.
I did however count dozens of homes on the market today in McLEEN that are <1.5M and remodeled, elegant, what-not.

OH boo freaking hoo. Seriously I'm crying in my coffee mug over here. What a sob story.

Well that's not really what you asked. You asked if it would be a dealbreaker. And honestly when you're talking about spending $1.5 million on a house, it sounds extremely silly to suggest that something so easily remedied could be a dealbreaker. I mean really, how much could it possibly cost to add another oven to the existing configuration? $5K, $10K at the absolute high end? And you'd consider foregoing a $1.5 million house you like just for that reason??

Good cause you are a douche
Oh, I'M a douche? And not the rich people bitching about the cost of ripping out their kitchen to put in a double oven? Riiiiiight.![]()
First off why would you advocate ripping out a new kitchen? 2nd some people aren't "rich" who buy 1.5 million dollar homes they may have been lucky and bought before the bubble and have kept trading up to the point where their mortgage maybe be very small.
Okay you win. You are a totally awesome human being because your biggest worry in life is whether or not your 1.5M home has a double oven.![]()

Anonymous wrote:I miss my old double oven. Our new house doesn't have one. So, no, it wasn't a dealbreaker. It will be part of the eventual remodel. But we spent 1.6, so that probably made all the difference,
