His office has a leaflet that I picked up. It says this is the cost through Reprosource for *most insurance plans. It looks like you have to prepay a certain amount, which is amount listed, but if you have a qualified insurance the cost is less (safeguard).

FERTIL panel (full panel) $3758 advance pay with a safeguard of $725. The monitoring panel (no idea what that includes) is $797 with a safeguard of $450. The couples immunology panel is $1204 with a safeguard of $487.

I don't have a diagnosis but I'm hoping the new test he ran on me turns up something. You can call Reprosource and they can give you more specific pricing for your insurance. (800)667-8893

Okay I have the latest and greatest info directly from Dr. B about Reprosource. They USED to be the middle man where most of their business was sending blood to other labs like RFU. It was convenient because they would come to your house and get blood work done when an out of state doctor would order testing.

Dr. B worked with them to develop a set of immune tests specifically for his patients. They will run all the assays for many tests that RFU does not run. I saw a sample set of results and it's a TON more tests. This set of tests has only very recently become available. He is also doing testing for his patients that was only able to be run for research purposes in the past.

This is interesting but I do remember reading somewhere that women with mild endometriosis (e.g. stage I or stage II) have been found to have bigger problems with elevated NKs than those are stage III or stage IV. I can't recall why.

Did everyone who did Immune testing and treatment do so after undergoing IVF?

FYI, I think it's possible to have ATAs tested elsewhere.

To answer your question, I had the immune testing done before our first IVF cycle. I strongly suspected an implantation problem just based on our month-to-month efforts to conceive the normal way. Multiple doctors tried to convince me to have IVF first but I stuck to my guns and am so glad I did. My NKs were through-the-roof high. There is no way IVF would have been successful.

Op Here - as I mentioned in the previous post - The number for Fertility and Cryogenics is not in service. I was able to reach Milenova lab however. I asked them about their Implantation Failure Panel of tests and it costs $2166.00. I think I'll need to work with MDIPA if we end up going this route to get this all done (knowing that it will take awhile to get approved).

Those of you who saw Abassi and Braverman - did you have to go up to NY at all and if so how often? Were you able to order all tests and do that with him over the phone?

That sounds high to me. I wonder if the total might include some tests (like a thrombophilia panel) that could be performed at normal labs like Quest. Did you also get a quote from Rosalind Franklin?

Hmm - well I called the number on Fertility and Cryogenics and the number said it was not in service. I called Millenova (which I think has been named MI lab) and they answered and gave me the information I needed.

Millenova is closed. If you talked to anyone, then you were routed to fertility and cryogenics lab. This is dr coulam's lab. Millenova was the old one.
