If your using one of your devices and somehow get signed off and they re-ask you for your email. BE 100% positive you are using the original email address as they will bill you for 2 different accounts. I recently discovered this and tried to get a refund but they refused. Waiting for a better option than I am out of here Netflix!!
I had something similar happen, you can try to have your credit card company handle the refund. That is what I had to resort to when I could no longer sign in to my active account that they somehow had "no record of". I had to set up a new one according to costumer service and they started double billing me. Luckily I caught it early on my statement because the Netflix costumer service was not helpful.
