Recently I made coconut shrimp GF - used coconut flour & fried in a mixture of coconut oil & grape seed oil. Serve with salad, jasmine rice (made with coconut milk if you want) & mango-pineapple salsa. Sorbet for dessert. Mmmm now I am hungry.

Also Sticky Fingers in Columbia Heights. (Vegan gluten-free bakery--yummy stuff.)

Sticky Fingers is not gluten free, although they may have added a gluten free cupcake or cookie within the last couple years. Their baked goods rock, but they are not gluten free as a rule.

True they're not GF as a rule--sorry, didn't mean to suggest that. But they have GF cupcakes and cakes available, which rock. We go there for all our party cakes; they're awesome.

Lilit Cafe:

& Whole Foods have a good selection of GF desserts in case you'd like to outsource something.

Risotto should stand by itself. Risotto AND polenta - bizarre.

LOL. You're not Italian. Home rules aren't restaurant rules, you know.
