65 downstairs and 67-68 upstairs.

We got new windows, and it made everything so much warmer upstairs. We used to set it at 72 before.

What temp are you keeping it for this week DC area?

I keep it at 68-70 when I'm home and awake (68 normally, 70 if I'm freezing in our poorly-insulated family room) and have been turning it down to 66-67 at night and during the day while we're out.

65-68 during the day when we're home and 65 at night. The heat isn't evenly distributed so some rooms run hot, and my room only gets cold air so I keep the vent closed and turn on a space heater.

72 day - I work from home so I'm here all the time.

62 night - we have a warm mist humidifier in DD's room and it stays much warmer, about 70 all night, which is good since she won't go to sleep in anything warmer than cotton pjs, and she won't keep socks or a blanket on at night!

I'd love to get the temps lower, but realistically, I think we'll focus on increasing our insulation so we're not as wasteful and can still have it relatively warm in the day.

62 night, 67 day

We use 67 at bedtime and keep the temp at 70 when we are at home during the day.

69 at all times.

67 during the day on the main level. 65 when we go to bed.

66 upstairs where the bedrooms are. it stays at 66 all the time.

65 Downstairs at night for my son. He only sleeps with his blankie and most nights kicks it off anyway.

I married a polar bear so upstairs we set to 60 and run the fan on full blast.

Holy cow, 76-77?! That's pretty hot. We keep ours set at 68 during the morning and evening and 64 during the main part of the day and at night. Both DC and I get hot when we sleep, so we keep it low (much to DH's chagrin!). DC (2 yrs old) sleeps in cotton pants and a long sleeve shirt and is comfortable without any blankets. I agree wth the pp who sets theirs at 76-77. I would rather pay extra to be comfortable. I am ALWAYS cold, my DH always hot. LOL bad combination. Because my house is old, feels drafty and I have laminate floors (beginning to think THAT was a mistake to put down). I keep my heat at 78. I have even put it up as high as 80 on reeeally cold windy days. I think I need to go have my blood checked again because several people told me if my iron is down, it could be why I am always cold. Oh, and when i get reeeally cold, I turn on a space heater when I am sitting here at the computer!!! LOL

We are similar. This winter has been pretty good, so we've kept it between 73-75 at night. Like you, I will not be cold in my home and will suck up paying more. A cold house makes me achy as hell and I somehow get sick. Not to mention, my youngest (4) always manages to kick off her covers and I hate when her little legs are cold.

55 at night and 65 during the day. We turn it up higher during the day when we have less hardy guests.

Kids are 1 and 3 and we have done the 55 degree nights since they were born. Use down and wool for warmth.
