I hear ya OP. She sounds just like my MIL. She is coming for FIVE nights. And I have been busybat work so I really want to spend time with my kids, so I can't just run away. I really hate her.

Oh my god OP you have THREE more days???? I am barely surviving 7 hours with my inlaws. I pity you.

I feel for you OP. My inlaws are coming in a few days and it is never fun. Even my husband has to drink to deal with them. I just try to smile and find lots of reasons to have to run out for a few minutes. It's worth the criticism I get from never having anything together to get several breaks throughout the day! It is also kind of fun to watch my husband try to make them happy. In 12 years I have not seem him succeed even once. Probably mean to find humor in it, but I do.

OP, have you considered that maybe your inlaws (MIL, FIL, SIL, BIL ...) don't care for you either? I grit my teeth during the 3 nights and 4 days that I spend at my SIL's. I visit for my dauhgter so that she has a connection and memories with her cousin bc we live 3000 miles away.
