I would not be surprised if some co ed sleep overs end up with a few people having sex.
As others have said, if they want to have sex, they will, whether there's a sleep over or not.

Just be sure your kid is as safe as possible. Pretty soon she'll probably be at college where she can have all the sex she wants. Get her on the pill NOW.

Why not use this as a good way to make sure your daughter is fully informed and has access to good birth control. That way you can help her make good decisions.

Daughter: what so you think about a coed sleep over.
If he says its fine. Then you can say. Ok. Well let's discuss
Birth control and your need to be a responsible teen and adult if you choose to have sex.

Do you know where to buy condoms? We have put some
Under the sink for you. If you decide to have sex
Always make sure the boy has a condom on.
Only when your in a long term committed relationship
Should you discuss otherwise.

And if she tells you she is old enough to know.
Then you can talk about a gyn appt. so she can
Discuss birth control and make well informed decisions

This from a dh who slept with most every high school
Gf and plenty in college. I knew about using condoms.
Always had them available if needed and never ever
Had to worry about pregnancy. And most girls
We're on birth control by 9th grade for both cycle regularity and safety.

Sex is fun, teach your kids to be safe and then
You don't need to worry.

I'm the "one to a sleeping bag" poster and I agree that nothing would've ever happened in my group of friends, because we just weren't going to have sex. We didn't do drugs, we didn't sneak alcohol, and we weren't the kids our parents worried about. For the record, we also weren't "fat and pimply". One of my friends was the school's track star. He just didn't need to sleep around and do drugs to be "cool".

I did these all the time... in college. Only a year older but... it was college.
