Redfin website rocks. Redfin agents kind of suck.

I really do love their site. For the pictures alone if not for anything else. I haven't found a website like theirs. Don't know anything about their agents tho.

I love Franklymls! They have the best site IMO. And Frank is really knowledgeable about real estate in general.

We actually used them as our realtor for our last buy/sell and were really happy. We used their MLS a lot during the process, but what was back in '08.

Redfin is way better- interface, more timely info, historic comps, photos, etc.
Did I mention it's a large company and frankly is just a small regional local agent group?

Redfin now includes a feature that overlays school attendance districts on their maps.

We worked with the owner a few years ago and really liked him. Love the website a million times better than Redfin.

I have no experiences with FranklyMLS agents, but I do like their site for its search capabilities. It's much easier to search by subdivision, for example, than with other real estate sites that I'm aware of. Plus, their maps have optional overlays of school boundaries (at least for Fairfax & Arlington), which is great.

However, a neighbor of mine got a few pushy e-mails from the FranklyMLS owner after registering, so it seems they're trying to do a hard-sell for their real estate services, which becomes off-putting real quick.

I guess I'd consider talking to their agents when I eventually buy again (because their website is a great service), so I hope their agents become as useful as their website.

Not sure I'd join though.

+ 100

Easiest to search by word; neighborhood name when zipcode is too large.

I registered with the site and I'm not a client and I still get emails.

Does anyone know if this client only thing really happened? I haven't gotten a FranklyMLS email since end of May. Not sure if it's an IT issue.

Add me to the list of those who had a bad experience with a Frankly Realty agent. I have no affiliation with any other real estate agency or realtor.
