I adore my yellow kitchen with white cabinets. Cheerful and energizing, especially before coffee. And after coffee as well. What's most important is what you like, works for you, etc. Trends come and go and you have to life day after day with what you choose.

I love the new trend and am in the process of planning a new kitchen with white cabinets, gray countertops, and probably some shade of gray on the walls (still need to figure that out). As others have said I think it looks clean, bright, and modern. But to each their own--styles change, and I'm sure my new kitchen will look dated in a decade or two

No. I have what you like ---way too brown. I love gray walls, etc. I love dark cabinets and light countertops (marbleish) the best. I feel like I live in a Home Depot showroom. My kitchen is huge and was just redone by previous owners--can't change it now....counters pace is huge. It would cost a fortune to start over.

Gray is my favorite color, especially together with creams and warm whites. And I love white kitchens. Always have.
I have never seen a cherry kitchen I liked. But it's really all about personal preference, isn't it? Choose what you love.

Yellow paint is usually SUPER dated.

White and cherry are hardly classic. They each have had their moments from decade to decade. Kitchens are always very "of their time". Just accept that "classic" doesn't exist.

No. Clean and crisp all the way.
