and don't get me started on McDonald's french fries - those used to be SO delicious
McDonald's french fries used to be good because they fried them in lard. They switched to vegetable oil in a (misguided) attempt to make them "healthier". When in France, I stop at a McDonald's there, just to buy french fries. They taste like ours used to taste.

Anonymous wrote:I agree, they don't taste the same anymore. I can eat just one now, whereas before they were like a drug for me. The same with Girl Scout Do Si Dos the peanut butter cookie. Used to be yummy, now I don't order them.

Hahahaha really PP?? You don't dip into the candy bowl?![]()
This is the OP. Thanks to the PP who posted about the PGPR. I bet that is it. Yuck. That just killed my interest in candy. All of these fake foods/ingredients are slowly driving me to a whole foods diet.
Anonymous wrote:OMG slightly offtopic but I LOVE the minis (unwrapped in a bag like m&ms or something). Sooooo good and too easy to throw back the full bag so quickly.
