I work for ER dr.'s. If I didn't come in to take care of their children one of them would not been able to go to work.

Late to this party, but thank you, all of you who are risking your safety and putting the needs of others before your own, whether it's to staff a Starbucks or to save lives in an ER. (OK, I hope and trust that Starbucks will be closed, but I know there are a lot of retail employees who had to work today.) We are all indebted to the service of others.

thanks everyone! i'm an ER doctor at children's hospital and will be going in tomorrow and leaving my little ones at home.

we'll do everything we can to make sure our ER is fully staffed to serve the children of this area.

I saw the photo on Facebook. Amazing and I did not recall that they did stand guard all of the time. I wonder if they would be told to stop in this storm?
