I plan to do the same thing. Who says it must be Oct 31st? We'll find a safe evening in November.

I bought $45 worth of full size candy bars from Costco. Enough for 90 kids. I think returning it will be a better bet than eating it.

Some counties (municipalities?), all over the country, set trick or treating guidelines. They set times, rules (like ages and must be wearing costumes), and sometimes change the date altogether.

Really? You missed that thread? Every Halloween someone posts asking when TOT'ing will be held. That poster is mocked by those who have never heard of this regional custom by those acting superior because they only know of TOT'ing being held on Oct. 31st.

So yes - lots of kids probably went TOT'ing last night (am mainly familiar with PA kids. My mom's town held it last night. Saw some pics on Facebook of their kids dressed up for TOT'ing).
