+1 That's how I view them. If I ever did something like that, it would not be out of vanity, but to be goofy and give people some laughs. But, that's just me.

Ha, I'm the first PP but not the last one. It's $25 for two years. So, yeah, it's worth it. I've had mine for 10 years, and it relates to my favorite band, and DH's is related to his favorite sports team. We have a third beater car (oooh, I bet that would REALLY annoy some people!) that used to have them, but we gave them up in favor of Humane Society plates.
