You sound like a 3 year old. Obama is responsible for his actions not Romney.

Oh, so Romney is supposed to highlight differences with Obama in a presidential debate. But Obama is not supposed to respond to them. I understand that Romney probably had a sheltered chiildhood, but is he now supposed to have a sheltered candidacy as well?

It kept us talking about the fact that Romney's only specific about cuts to balance a lower tax rate is too small to be taken seriously, so it's not a complete loss.

The ad was hilarious. It's not that serious. The ad was ridiculous, and that is why it was funny. Take the sticks out of your butts, and find something else to gripe about. This bickering insanity seems to grow with each election season.

Really? I believe Romney hailed it as en example of his budgetary leadership. Sorry but if that's what he's going with on how to fix the budget, then he has to live with the resulting debate. He put it on the map, it's his fault.

Looked like an SNL sketch.
Embarassingly juvenile to come from the leader of the free world.

That's okay, there'll be a new sheriff in town soon. Enjoy your Big Bird.

One reflects a vision of the proper role of the federal government that many share. The other reflects the proper role of SNL digital shorts that many share.

Is Voice of America also on the chopping block?

I don't know but it obviously serves a potentially international function (part of the role of the federal government) and, as I understand it, could not be expected to be commerically profitable or suppported sufficiently by donations in many locations, unlike PBS.

According to its charter, it's supposed to be an accurate, objective, and comprehensive news source. Why should the government be in the business of doing that? Aren't there hundreds of news organizations out there?
