*in* most parts of the country. . .

And yes, a super bitchy response.

Interesting that so far no minorities have responded as supporting Romney.

Neither must be in reading comprehension and it explains your low HHI.

How is my reading comprehension lacking? Also, our low HHI is because I SAH. And it most parts of the country, $98k isn't low.

They do it because they don't have any other option.

I support Romney. Our HHI is in the $120,000's Dh is in the military (career...he is in his 40's and has been in the military since he was 19 years old) and that includes all of his allowances (we do not live in base housing). I am a stay at home mom. I have a BA in history and have been a SAHM for the past 13 + years--in other words, my chances of getting a "good job" if I wanted (or needed) right now are pretty much 0.

We are white and practicing Catholics.

And are you a minority? No

And since others seem to be adding it - not religious; hubby was raised in church, I was not and neither practice any religion now

Your family members are very rational as Obama wants to shut down the coal industry. Ironically the UMWA endorses Obama which clearly is not in their best interest. UMWA members want their health and retirement benefits, but it also helps to have a job.

My biggest problem with Romney is his religion. I don't think I can support someone who believes so strongly in something so wacky (my opinion only, of course) with absolutely no proof. In full disclosure, I feel the same way about Christianity. It's just so mainstream so I have to deal with it.

I agree their religion is a bit whacky, but do you know any Mormons?

I have had several Morman neighbors, and they are the most respectable, kind, responsible, charitable, law abiding, neighborly people you will ever meet. They have amazing, bright, accomplished children and very supportive families. they live very moral lives (in a gosh-gee kind of way). But they are not mean spirited or judgemental or so religious they forget how to smile.

Strange religion, but very good people.

I do, and I don't argue your point. As I wrote, I feel the same way about all faiths. I would much prefer a leader who didn't affiliate with any specific mythology, which I'm pretty confident will not happen in my lifetime. I'm actually an undecided voter. The main reason I'll go to the polls this November is for questions 6 and 7 in MD.

How would one reveal being borderline racist?

Creating offensive bumper stickers like this:

Many also call Obama a Muslim. This seems like bigotry to me. He is not even a Muslim but they want to hate him anyway.

That's not borderline, that's just racist.

If you think most or even many R supporters think like this than you think 50% of the country is seriously racist.

Signed,
Atheist R supporter who is supports gay marriage and is not racist.
