The CHADD DC Chapter is a GREAT resource for parents whose kids have ADHD. The group is lead by 2 very dynamic women who bring is top-notch speakers to our monthly meetings. For more information, please email: chadddcparentsgroup@gmail.com.

Hello,

My center - LearningRx - Brain Training Center located in Montgomery County helps kids and adults with ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia and other learning difficulties by providing cognitive skills training - attention, memory, auditory and visual processing skills, logic/reasoning and processing speed. We are hosting free Brain Training Workshops in April & May and would like to invite parents who are part of the Support Group For Special Needs Children. I posted looking for a special needs parent support group in DC or close-in suburbs. Since there doesn't seem to be one, I will try to organize. I was thinking that it would just be great to meet some other parents in the same boat. I will also try to find some discussion topics online to get us going.
