OP, we make more than enough for $395. sweaters. We choose to hang onto our money. So the answer is an emphatic NO WAY. Fool.

Pretty much all of my sweaters have 'caught' on various things like my engagement ring, watch, door catch, anything & everything. So no, I wouldn't spend that on an item that can so easily be ruined.

I just came across this one and just love it...honestly if I could find something exactly like this for $40 I would buy it without question.

Looks like something my Polish grandmother wore right off the boat in 1901.

Do you have debt other than your mortgage? Do you have a healthy retirement fund? If the answers are no and yes, knock yourself out. If they aren't, don't even think about it.

You are either rich OR middle income with a paltry 401k. Please tell us which!!

Okay, that was the reality jolt needed. I will scour Kohls for a look-a-like sweater.

Not worth $395.

Why is no one commenting on the fact the model moved? It scared the crap out of me.

I know a woman who can make you one just like that at a fraction of the price.

I swear to you I bought my cousin a sweater like that from the junior's section at Macy's. Honest to God. I actually think the one I bought was cuter.

For this amount of money perhaps OP could take a knitting class and buy a whole live yak for herself. That doesn't even look like a terribly difficult sweater to knit.

To the woman who knows of someone who can make this-does she have a store on Etsy you could refer me to? I just really like this sweater and haven't seen anything like this, but I don't have alot of time to window shop so it is possible there is a less expensive one out there.

Love it. Not sure how the closure works on it all, but I really do like this. I'd get it if I could afford it.

Maybe its $395 because its made with yak fur?

I don't care for it. Wouldn't pay $395 whether I liked it or not - that's too much money.
