Like I said, a little common sense goes a long way. Change is good for everyone, in the long run.

OP, I hear you. The "old" neighbors do not own the neighborhood. They are resentful (jealous). It could not be more obvious, yet they do not sound very smart to even try to hide it. My friends have been through the same, as this is a time of change, and many, many tear downs are happening in many, many neighborhoods. "Close in" and not so much. Your neighbors are in denial, to a point of obsessed and crazy. It is important that everything be documented and you retain counsel in case this gets worse.
Do you know who it is? I would make note of it for future reference, if you catch what I am sayingYour horrible, immature neighbors are bullies who deserve all they have coming to them. And it will.
In a couple of my friends cases (new construction in obviously decrepit tear down neighborhoods - of course the neighbors don't see it that way!), the friends did wish they moved next to more "like" and less "bitter" people. In some cases, the odd and so blatantly bitter neighbors were cured by a strategically placed night vision hidden camera on which my friends caught the bullying antics on camera! One of the bullying neighbors was disbarred. I just love it when the good guy wins, don't you?!
Law enforcement is very aware this exists and is very aware why. GL.
Wow. Just... wow. Can you imagine living next to a piece of work like this?
Reasonable. Clever. Law abiding. Hmm... What more could I want in a neighbor? I'd move next to him/her.
Umm, because it's you, dear PP? The aggression is palpable. Just sayin'.
Anonymous wrote:I find this whole thread insane. Are people really this petty? Maybe it is because I live in a neighborhood where people do not tear down. We have neighbors who have done huge, "not my style" additions (AU Park). But it is their house! They can paint it neon pink for all I care.
Night vision cameras?! Disbarred?! These people need to live in a planned community with a HOA!
but then I've never understood the gigantic teardown mcmansion thing. If I had that kind of money, i'd much rather do a tasteful addition/renovation. It's quite obvious this is a betheseda or arlington location, when we moved in recently all of our neighbors couldn't wait to introduce themselves and make us feel welcome to the hood.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:
