Call me whatever you want to call me, I don't really care. I hate houseguests. I hate being a houseguest. I will stay with my mom for 2 nights...MAX. And why is it that when you propose staying in a hotel people feign hurt? Let me have my own space. That way when we're together there's no constant "please shut up for one second" thought bubble.

LOL wtf are u finding all these Metrocards!?? LOL. Yes I saw where u said u find them but how come u find them and we don't!?? "LMAO! Omg this is so funny I can't contain my laughter that one person happens to stumble upon these cards everywhere they go. )
On another note I HATE houseguests and I don't really care who they are. Why ask to stay with people- isn't that why hotels were created? Guests mess up the normal flow of the house and puts other people out of their comfort zone. If u can't pay for a hotel then u should stay home. And don't ask people if u can stay IT's RUDE- let them offer. My house is NOT the Hilton and I don't wanna give up my room for someone elses germs...my kid doesn't either. Stay home or make reservations.. I enjoy my world without house guests in it. Go away!!!

Hey, I always try to do the right thing.

These folk focus on the weirdest stuff. I took you post to mean 'I always find metro cards'. How you turned into the DCUM pariah is beyond me

You truly made me LOL. I don't know how I became the pariah either and I find it a bit amusing. It's not as if I'm out there picking pockets or sticking people up for their Metro cards. I just find them. I never find any cash though.

MY mother is currently not speaking to me because she invited herself and my dad for passover and i did not tell them to come. My husband has been working 14 hour days, and weekend, and ive been going through a rough time with one of my kids, who has a bunch of special needs, and the only reason id say yes to them is because they're my parents. I feel like a terrilble person (though in my heart i know i am not) but i havent told them they can come. The backstory is my mother is a very difficult person who always insults our house when she comes, the way i cook, my general life challenges, my special needs kid, and basically leaves me feeling depressed and even worse about myself,

My inlaws think I take almost daily naps and go to bed at 9:15. I am okay with this.

It just makes me itch. Even when the kids have sleepovers. I am glad I am not alone. Strangely, I do not mind sharing a place on a vacation --it's not MY house.
