I'm 13:02. I haven't posted anything negative about the Feynman School either, and I too suggest you ask the moderator to verify this - although I'm pretty sure he has better things to do than go back over a year's worth of posts.

I was trying to be helpful and I'm sorry you're taking well-intentioned advice the wrong way.

Ummm -- people are so strange here...they make stuff about schools which they have no knowledge about. For anyone to assert that Holton doesn't have excellent math/science has absolutely no knowledge of it. They're the only private h.s. to have an engineering program. The supposed mom + her DD who alleged to have go to HAS are B.S.

Rereading this thread, the pro-Feynman poster is generally on topic. Just my 2 cents. Any other MoCo private schools not mentioned above to consider?

I'm sorry you feel the need to make that accusation. If you'd like, you can ask Jeff to check the logs and confirm 14:57 was my very first post on this thread.

In the past, I've posted positive comments about Feynman and defended the school from detractors, based on a very pleasant discussion I had with the Golds when they were just starting the school, and on my respect for what they were hoping to accomplish. I've also posted to question some of the exaggerated claims of overly enthusiastic Feynman supporters. I try to take the same balanced approach for other schools and topics too.

There are plenty of other people who have posted criticism of Feynman on DCUM. Maybe you're incorrectly assuming it's just one person.

But aside from all that, I really do think it would be best to move along and not re-argue the past. Can't we even agree to do that?
