I think the house would "Trump" the Rosedale farmhouse and landscape.

Is the picture showing the front or the back of the house?

There are some examples of Spanish-style architecture in Cleveland Park - see pics below - but the size is going to doom this thing from the start.

There isn't one organization, from the Conservancy, to the ANC to the DC Historic Board, that would approve this.

A classic example of the notion that money can't buy you class or taste.

Kinda' like the way the Venetian in Vegas fits in with the architecture of Venice!

The key question for city approvals is whether the home enhances or detracts from the landmarked 18th century farmhouse, the oldest house in DC, or diminishes its prominence at Rosedale. From the slide, the answer seems clear.

Looks like they'll need a "car elevator". And a helipad. Palazzo "Kardashia". Wow.

They would get no resistance building this in McLean. It is hideous.

I do not think "McMansion" means what you think it means. This would be a "Mansion." Exemplars of McMansions can be found Oakton and cost around 700k to 900k.

While some may not like this house, drive around, it actually fits in with the architecture of the historic Cleveland Park strip.
